GROUNDED
Winter Session
GROUND arrives December 15. In January, I’m going to teach a 4-part course on living the teachings of the book. This will take place in 4 x 3 hour sessions, on Tuesday mornings (for those on United States time), on January 13, 20, 27, and February 3.
I’ll ask you to read the book before coming to class, which is a non-trivial ask, as it clocks in at 400 pages. Then a group of us will spend four sessions reflecting and putting into practice what the book is teaching.
We’ll start with dismantling disconnection at the level of civilization, move then to lineage, move then to physiology, move then to metabolism.
This will be a co-exploration, and participatory. I’m still learning how to teach the pedagogy of the book, and although we ran a number of sessions in the spring of 2025, it is still likely to be emergent.
I’m interested in the outcome being a change in the visceral quality of people’s felt experience: a bodily registration of deeper groundedness. A feeling of being more rooted: to place, to the present moment, to the body, to the ground. As well as being dramatically more contextualized in how to stay in contact with, and receive information from the Earth.
The workshop is by application. You can learn more about it and apply here.
