Hi there–
This is Gabriel, the author.
Would you like to experience what I am writing about in The Neurobiology of Connection?
This winter and spring I am teaching an experiential deep-dive into the physiology of the connection architecture. As you’ll be discovering in this book, your body contains at least 14 neurophysiological portals to the connection system.
Moving from south to north in your body, these include
Your skin
Your posture
Your gestures
Your feet
Your genitals
Your hands
Your breath
Your heart
Your voice
Your face
Your eyes
Your ears
Rhythm
Language itself
Each of these portals provides a distinct opportunity through which to connect.
We are working here in a framework as follows (articulated in The Neurobiology of Connection):
Safety is the doorway to connection.>>>
Connection is the doorway to interoception.>>>
Interoception is the doorway to non-cognitive ways of knowing, of which we are going to explore the physiological basis of 10.>>>
Non-cognitive ways of knowing are the doorway to relatedness.>>>
Relatedness is the doorway to enduring wellbeing.
This course, which is not focused on pedagogy, but on experiential access to and through the portals meets for 11 Sunday sessions in 2024.
January 21
February 4, 18
March 3, 17 (St. Patrick's Day)
April 7, 28 (note that this is 4th Sunday in April)
May 5, 19
June 2, 16 (Father's Day)
If you cannot join us for the live offering, you will have permanent access to all of the practice recordings, which will be professionally shot in 4K and produced by our film division.
The course is by application and will include wellness professionals and interested laypeople. It is offered on a sliding scale in alignment with our post-capitalist ethics.
