Turn up the color in your life
For those of you who may be interested in experiencing the autonomics framework directly, and are wishing to experience its differentiation from other autonomic models, e.g. Polyvagal Theory, I will teach a brief (3 hour) experiential introduction on Saturday July 18 from 8 to 11 am Pacific time (-8 hours GMT).
Finding Home in Your Nervous System is a live, non-technical introduction to the art and science of Autonomics, and why it matters for your life. You will learn why autonomic fluency is a foundation for the moment-to-moment experience of wellbeing, get a sense of how your particular body tilts into habitual stress response (most adults have a pretty clearly etched preference in this direction), get a foundation sense of our color theory model of autonomic state (three variables), as well as how to apply this framework to adjusting nervous system inputs in your life in support of wellbeing.
You will come away from the training in more direct contact with your own embodied experience, and your Autonomic Nervous System itself, which shapes the deepest and most powerful levers that govern your moment-to-moment experience of wellbeing.
